Crawlers controls work in reverse

Hey folks,
I own a maxstone 1/8 crawler. When i go forward the truck will reverse, when i steer right it will go left and left will go right. It will also go full speed reverse when i turn the power off on the transmitter.
I have tried all the switches on the transmitter and changed all the batteries.

It seems like an issue with the transmitter, but im pretty new to the field.

Thanks a lot
Jess

you need to reverse the switches on the inside of the cover it will say st nor/rev then thro norm/ rev simply switch them the other way from what they are .

Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I tried reversing the switches and i still have the same outcome. The switches worked fine before all of this started happening.

Thanks
Jess

Turn the body around

And don't turn the transmitter off while the truck is still on.

I was going to say basically the same thing - you're holding the transmitter upside down! Sorry, couldn't resist.

I'm not clear - did the truck ever work properly?

It sounds like the "failsafe" has been set to full reverse. Check the manual, and re-bind with the thottle at neutral. The forwards/reverse mix up may just be the motor wires reversed, but I don't know why the steering wouldn't respond to changing the reversing switches.

Thanks, yes the truck worked fine for a month, but i forgot to mention i used it at approx -20 degree temperature. I will look for the manual and try to rebind it.

i do know water and electronics do not mix if you used it outside then took it inside while using it may have dammaged the reciver due to condensation .
also when rebinding switch the switches to norm. then rebind .
