I love the looks of the TC, but I rarely fly it. I don't like the battery hatch with 2200s so I went to a 1300, which fit a little better.
Cut the wire on the TW and epoxy it directly into the rudder. End of problems. Cut/Dremel the framing out on the backside to allow the 2200 to slide in. Works perfect. I'm on my 3rd 450 TC and my 2nd set of Dubro tires on it. Untold how many hours of flight but a LOT! Still have undamaged original LG. Best buy I ever made but my Eflite 450 J3 is right behind for pure fun & relaxation.

My Taylorcraft was lost in a spectacular crash last spring. Today I maidened a brand new one I just finished. I had forgotten how sweet a plane this is!
