Quads similar to V252

Which micro quad is most similar to V252 in terms of speed, agility, LED lights that you can see and wind resistance?

JJRC 100 is very close. Also jxd 388 but a bit overweight, I just use the board on a light frame with some 0712 chaolis and it kills the v252 in every aspect.

Except for LED lighting, JXD 385. The V929 is no where even close to a V252 in any way shape or form. The V242 is identical to the V252 except for slight difference in body shell. We have about 30 left. Once they're gone............they're gone forever

On those quads which I own, JJRC 1000 is the closest quad to V252 which I've flown. And personally I like JJRC more than V252 even if it's slightly slower.

The JJRC seems to be the winner contest

ok I almost ready to get JJRC 1000.

Compared to V252 update frosted version with improve Yaw rate.

1. which has better Yaw Rate?
2. Wind Resistance
3. Outdoor daytime LED visibliltiy
I can see the red LEDs on V252 outdoors no problem.
4. Durability

1. Not sure about the yaw rate as I only fly with Devo 7E, which has fixed yaw in the model. There isn't huge difference between those two, though..
2. JJRC 1000 is slightly heavier which means that it's also less sensitive to wind.
3. V252 (frosted) has brigther lights, JJRC has dimmer but X shaped lights. X shaped lights help a lot on figuring out the orientation of the quad but may be harder to spot on bright sunny day.
4. Not sure yet as I've not crashed with JJRC. I do know that V252 (frosted) body is one of the weakest I own.

The jjrc is heavier and you can tell in flight. I put the 0720-14 motors and that took care of it. The body is a tough frame. Even though the leds are backward in color versus the 252 l, they do show up very well at night. Almost a cleaner led. Its has been worth the 35 I paid from tmart.
My nanotech 300mah lipos do stick out the rear. So I bOught the 260s.

v252 brittle body shell

Got a cracked upper arm seems like bottom shell holding up a bit, wondering instead of v252 replacement shells has anyone tried using jjrc1000 or cg022 shells might need some slight mod to fit the v252 board.

I'm also wondering about the feasibility of transplanting a v252 (improved) into a JJ/RC 1000 or Eachine CG022 shell.

Shells for the v252 are very hard to find, so I'm looking for alternatives. Anyone have suggestions for others shell that might work? Maybe a JXS 385 or Hubsan X4L?

Order one of these: http://micro-motor-warehouse.com/col...for-7mm-motors

As I have two extra V252 FCs, I'm going to try one as soon as I get them.
