SCSR - F3F race at "Bills Hill" - May 9th!!!

Yes, that's right guys, a fully sanctioned F3F contest right here at our own "Bills Hill". We are very excited about this new venue. Factor in the favorable May conditions, and it's sure to be a success! If you've been on the fence about entering an event, now is the time to give it a shot, you won't be disappointed (Current AMA membership needed).

We will have a pilots meeting at 10:30am, with racing action as soon as wind permits. Please post your intentions!

Thanks, I'm looking forward to seeing you there!

No April fools, as it is May now, although it could be May fools

Matin, how about coming out and give it a try, instead of just watching? F3F can be flown with any type of plane, I started racing with a Moth. It is a lot of fun and it will help improve your flying skills.

I'm in!! As it stands right not I will be flying the Sting.

Did BH become an AMA sanctioned flying site suddenly? I thought there were some construction crews trying to fence it off recently?

Easy drive up access (well graded dirt road). We may need to do some car shuffling as far as parking goes but the walk is no farther than White Point. As for the landing, it isn't Torrey or for that matter White Point. It is a "brush" landing but is very easy on the planes. I've landed every plane I have without incident and that includes my brand new "Extreme". That being said, plan accordingly, this is a new site for most and should be flown as such (it is always a good idea to bring your back up).

I don't think I'll be able to make it because it's a Saturday and I have to work. I was mostly curious.

You know, I might just do that!
Age is catching up with me and my fingers and eyes are not what they were only a few years ago.
But I might offer myself as someone you guys can beat up on!!

Oh what the heck!....
