+1 How'd you make that? Now just replace the airframe with the same concept and you'll have a winner!

I have a friend, he made mold with 5-axles cnc
my friend have a friend (Dallara Team), he made this cowl

he made it(s) with the same material used on formula1 cars, carbon fibre+tungsten

apologies for my bad english,
Marco

P.S. a rc plane made of this material will cost near a 1:1 plane

I ordered a FlyFly FF3-313 motor from hobby88.com. It's a 3000 Kv instead of the stock 200kv. Same size so it fits right in. Unfortunately I haven't been able re remaiden yet so don't know how well t works.

After reading this thread Im glad Im not the only one who couldnt get their Fly Fly P-51 up in the air.

I tried playing with all sorts of different things in the end, but the incredible torque roll to the left on launch always ended up with the plane going inverted and ploughing in.

I rebuilt it a few times, and even used E-flite servos in the ailerons because the original ones used to chatter and move the control surfaces.

The final flight ended up with a busted wing, though it was fixable I just decided to call it a day on this bird and salvaged the parts.

Shame though, cause she really did look 1 million dollars.

Luckily I bought it off ebay for like $60.

Regards,
Nath.

I ordered it a while back, seems like the motor was $12 and shipping about $20. I couldn't find another option that fit the stock mounting.

I'll see if I can get one for you when I get home. It has 2 screws that go through the cowl.
I couldn't find an aftermarket motor the same size and screw patern. I thought about glueing a new firewall in and mounting a new motor to that but there rally isn't much room so I thought I would try the 3000 Kv motor first.
If you find something that works please post it as I would be interested too.

Hey all - if anyone is interested, I have my motor from my Corsair laying around. The shaft is very slightly bent, but it ran last time I used it.

I just found this thread this afternoon. I had decided to buy a small Corsair from BH and liked the BlitzRCWorks nano model over the PZ ultra-micro one (prefer a BL motor). But BH doesn't seem to stock parts and as best as I can tell FlyFly, HK and maybe SkyAngel are all making or selling the same basic model. Can anyone here confirm that? And from reading about a third of these pages, the FF models arent't really recommended unless I enjoy modding and repairing. Maybe someone here has some experience with the 1 size up Corsair or other model from BlitzRCWorks, the 1000mm or 39.5in models. Same problem with BH on parts support based on what's in stock. Thanks for any help finding the nano or any honest advice on buying one.

Maybe check out hobby people. They have parts for these small planes.
Those that say the FlyFly models dont work, I think are crazy. I have
had great success with my FlyFly P-51 mustang.

I ditched the stock radio and used a computer radio. If I remember correctly, I have the ailerons at 5mm and the elevator 3mm don't hold me to that. I broke my let recently, so I can't get to the airplane and my radio at this moment.

The main key is to ditch the stock radio and go with a programmable computer radio.

Also, I use the stock battery. I think it was a 550mah battery.
