Mig-29 Slovak digital camo - printed depron
Hello, this thread is about Mig-29 kit from Marek Rokowski"Na polskim niebie". It's prototype version.
My mate, Slawek designed Mig-29 in three colour schemes.
1. "Heroes of Kosciuszko"
2. Eagle's Talon '97 (first NATO/Poland exercises)
3. Slovak digital camo
Marek printed those schemas on 6mm depron and... It looks just amazing!
Some pictures from build of Eagle's Talon version
I'm waiting for parcels with Slovak digital camo kit because this version is just ideal for this techniques. And has a Tiger on the tail .
PS. Sorry for spelling.

I'm sorry I forgot the main part
Engine? probably Emax cf2812 with 7x4 propeller
Price? I don't know jet, this is prototype and maybe we should change something, but I've started threat to share with you my exiting this project. About price please ask Marek

I've tried several of Marek's EPP planes, all great flyers and looked good doing it.
I have never known him to compromise flight dynamics for appearance. I have no doubt his Depron efforts will follow in that tradition.
In other words, I bet we'll be able to have our cake AND eat it with this new series.

so, i'm start with secound "digital" prototype
i dont like flat surfaces (leading edge etc.)
i made "V" cutting
Preliminary upset with fingers
i appointed tail axes of rotation:
I cutted tail for make saddle for 4mm carbon tube:
i glued it together with PU glue
) tail and montage sheet i separated with polietylen bag.- VERY good idea if you use CA, PU and all kinds of glue)
for secure edges i used external tube of bowdens:
the trailing edge was glued without any reinforcement:

I saw you doing this in your Pfalz build thread, and really like the idea.
I have yet to learn the technique, but plan to start with one of your WWII profile kits I have on hand.

Reinforcement the wing.
First I gently cut V-groove on the bottom of wing.
Next I finished groove to round shape with sand paper.
After that I glued 4mm carbon tube as reinforcements. Sorry, no pictures.
Cutted strip of foam I had to thinner with knife and pizza roller.
And gently glued on the tube.
Notice that after rolling foam stripe is longer than before. You have to match it to lines on the wing.

This is my idea for mechanism for stabilizers.
4mm Carbon tube is filed off as rectangle. Same as hole in handler.
Handler and carbon tube is glued with epoxy.
Mechanism in the model
I've connected electronics
