In need of 200lbs of thrust.

Without getting into too much detail, I am in need of some very large EDF jets that will be attached to a wing that is attached to a human.

I need something capable of at least 200lbs of thrust. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You will need around ten 20lb thrust edfs to do this with what you are asking for being reasonable.

The batteries will be very heavy, and your flight time will be short.

Look for Top Gear episode UK. Human flight with two Jet Cat turbines. Note that the guy jumps from a plane and not lifting off from the ground.

I would go that route. Or get a lighter human

http://static.rcgroups.net/forums/im...con-search.pngYou need to use the largest dia fans available. I think some high powered 6" or 7" are in the works. I`d wait for those. Then you might only need 5 or 6 of them. 6 X 35lbs is doable with big fans and maybe 8kw to 10 kw per fan.

Maybe only 4 of these
