anyone know how to remove camshaft ball?
i am replacing the os camshaft with a reverse camshaft i need to get the ball out of the old one anyone know how to get them out without damaging them? here is a pic of the old with the ball next to the new one

I think they are permanent. Once they are in, they are in forever.

Maybe put everything in the freezer, ... then heat the camhaft outter shank with concentrated heat: such as a propane torch? maybe should verfy the use of such torch ... heat may need to be feathered in from behind the openinig or carefully controlled otherwise?

They are a loose fit. Heat it up to loosen the castor glue and tap it so the ball can fall out or try a strong magnet.

if i heated it they would have fallen out, i used a fuel tube and sucked them out there is nothing holding them in, actually sucks putting in the new cam since they just want to fall out of each side. thanks for they help though

A dab of grease will hold them in for assembly.

bearing balls only come in a few standard sizes (usually inch measurements) so if somehow it really is stuck it shouldn't be a problem finding new ones.
