Something else I have forgot after running so many other control boards. When linking up with the assistant software do I need the battery hooked up to the aircraft powered up and yes props are removed.

Yes, the FC needs power. Don't forget to click "Write" on each screen as you make changes. This puts the info on the FC.

Also shut down assistant when your done writing if you have no more changes before you disconnect. Another thing is save you settings to your desktop since when you upgrade the software it doesn't save the settings.

My MC OUTPUT ON is flashing red and I have no contact via the usb with the controler. Seems I had to do something weird when I loaded the assistant software on my first naza can someone fill me in and refreash my memory.

Without my laptop here in front of me (and honestly I have only used the software twice) I might not be any help here...

If I remember correct, this is the order I did things in...
Power Naza
Plug Naza into Computer
Turn on TX (THROTTLE DOWN EVEN WITH PROPS OFF!)
Start Up assistant.

If I remember right that MC OUTPUT ON flashes when the TX is off... but I am pretty sure that isn't right. Ummm... is this a fresh Assistant instal? Did it register the new Naza?

I bought it already built and setup flighing perfect. I thought I would be able to dounload the assistant software and it would read what is already wrote on the board. I think its me I had problems on this computer with my first Naza I had to save the zip folder download on my desktop and forgot now had to go in to my prgram files and pull something out of the zip folder and put it into the dji that was in my program files. Wish I could remember how I did it I would be flying this evening.

Did someone already upgrade fC to 2.02. is firmware is available on 30-08-2012... what is change?

Yes, I tried everything. Reinstalled software. Drivers. Tried new computer. DEAD. I hope nobody has an "interruption" during a firmware down load. It appears that it just wipes out all firmware or renders it unusable. Nothing at my end caused this. Computer was on. Really bummer. I contacted tech support at DJI but they were asleep. Probably is gonna have to go back though.

Sure sounds like you will have to send it in. I bet they ship back fast though well, I gata go outside and practice my FPV good luck to you!
