Wattage

Check the watts for both packs: 6S ( nominally 22.2 volts) * 4 amps = ~89 watts and 2S (nominally 7.4 volts) * 10 amps = 74 watts.

The 6S, at 10 amps discharge rate, would be over 200 watts; check your manual for discharge limits with / without regenerative discharge, and don't forget the limits on the charger supply battery...

Also I was using the stock storage setting to do a 6s3300 pack and it only discharged at 4amps vs the 10amp setting. Then I tried a 2s1350 a d it did try to discharge at 10amps both packs started out fully charged.

Any ideas as to why the 6s3300 wouldnt discharge at 10 amp?

Thanks

Here is my understanding.
The discharged power, V x amps, has to go somewhere. If you are connected to a battery for power source, you can set the discharge to regenerate the battery(assuming it has room to be topped up). I think 10 amps input into the 12v battery is the max. If you use a power supply then it must be dissipated as heat & is less.

For most chargers the "C" in C/10, C/3,etc, refers to charge rate. For example a charge rate of 10 amps and C/10 results in a termination of 1 amp. Where as the termination for C/3 is 3.3 amps.

The Powerlabs use the method above unless the pack capacity is specified in the preset. If the pack capacity is specified (its in the fuel tab), then the charger uses the capacity value in the calculation instead of the charge rate. Also the presets allow you manually set a termination value in amps, if you want.

So I took the genaric storage charge and set it for 4amp discharge and a termination to c/5.

The 6s3300 discharged just under 4 amps but if it had, wouldn't I expect the discharge to terminate at 800ma? (4000ma /5) the discharge terminated at 250ma's.

I assume on storage it's looking at probably more settings. If I had done a generic discharge should it have terminated at the ~800ma?

There's some addition logic, beyond the charge current. Typically the termination will occur between 20 and 60 seconds after the calculated termination is reached.
