charge rate for 1s micro heli batteries.
Hey guys, I'm just wondering on what charge rate I should be using on my 1s lipos. Many different makes and models ranging from 70mah to 550mah. Most are either 14, 25, or 45C's. I have just been playing it safe and charging everything with this calculation:
Total mah/1000. (when charging multiple 1s lipos in parrallel)
For example, when I have 6 150mah 45c eflites, I charge at .9 using the adapter. It takes roughly an hour to charge.
Is this right, or can I charge these faster? I don't see a specific number on the battery that indicates whether they are 1, 2, or 3c ratings. Maybe I'm just totally missing it!

I have been charging all of my lipolys at up to 3C charge rate for many years, regardless of manufacturer's rating. I have never had any issues in 1000's of charge cycles and enjoy fantastic lipoly longevity.
