Hey guys,

Took my UAV3000 on its first flight the other day and it flew so nice and smooth. So happy with it.

Here is a kinda crappy video of the maiden flight and a landing.
UAV (1 min 54 sec)

We are running a 5000mah 6 cell 45-90c battey (nano-tech) and probably got around 10 to 12 minutes flying. Probably flying with 80% throttle most of the time due to it being the first flight.... needed to make sure it could handle everything. It flys really well with around 45 to 50% throttle as well... probably less.

I want to be able to FPV fly for around 25 to 30 minutes, do you guys thinking running two 5000mah in parallel would reach 30 minutes or should I get a couple of 8000mah batteries?

I have a single 8000mah 6s and it gives me 50-60 min flight times. (40 min on a 5000...) What motor prop do you have? What cruising speed? I fly with APM autopilot at 14m/s in cruise mode when flying FPV.

[QUOTE=Rakem;28740601]Running the Turnigy G60 motor with a 14 x 7 prop....

the G60 can turn a 16x8 just fine, I tried a 14x9 this weekend and it did not have the same push as the bigger prop, the 14x7 is way under propped
