D'oh! Broken gear strut!
I have the Great Planes main gear retract set. While bending the strut for installation, the strut broke right where I was bending it.
An epoxy/JB weld repair at the break clearly won't stand up to landing loads, right? What the right answer here- bend a new piece of music wire and splice it in with tubing?
