Skysurfer with Twin EDFs
So I had some GWS Nacelles and some 3 cell outrunner EDF setups, kept looking at the Skysurfer as a good airframe for it. Not sure what motors they are, have had them for ever, they are pretty high kv, don't think they would like 4s, + I would have to upgrade my ESC (though I might have to try . Cruised at 25 amps at 3/4 throttle, full throttle was 37 amps. Worked great, easy mod, was not a rocket but fun to fly and still glides to a landing. Rotors are similar to what you get in the Dynam A-10 I believe. Some pictures attached for inspiration. Sorry, I have to clean my lens!

Still way cool. I may have to dig out my old Dynam HawkSky (surfer clone). And do something creative? I may strap a 70mm Velocity motor to the top!?!? Or put one of my 50mm on it. Gotta brainstorm for a few.
