Comments?
Were you on a 2s or 3s? Not that I have any insight, just wondering.

Sorry, should have posted that. Starting out with 2s just to see what the manufacturer intended for release. Eventually it will be 3s.

I have an F-15 coming in and wondering if I should keep it stock or buy some 10a ESC's to run it 3S or try my luck with the 3 bladed fans and run the stock 6a's. So hearing about how others fly the Mig-29 (I know it's not the same, but close) on stock really helps.

Bah I had two 10a plushes and a few spare 2.2g servos I coulda used, sold em ... now that I think about it, I think I sold them to you!

Has anyone tried the tiny AEO units in the Mig 29 yet?

I took a few more flights on the Mig-29 before sunset, the performance on 2s stock power and no programmed transmitter rates is adequate. I have extra elevator reflex manually set and ailerons set to neutral. Roll rate could be quicker, I'll dial that in next. Takes a little down stick to hold inverted, rolls will drop a little altitude on the back half, loops are a little sloppy. Make it a little more like a corkscrew and it goes though fine.

To me it seems to be a tough model to get the launch just right. It's easy to grab, easy to throw, I think it's the thrust line issue that's bugging me. My F-18 launches out straight as an arrow every time, no pitch changes with throttle and that's what I expect. Unmodified it is still manageable, I'm just not satisfied yet.

These planes are small enough to be suitable to launch with a toy launcher, like the rubberband ones use to launch Nerf-type gliders.

I have some 2S 350s. What is the proper way to wire them together and have a 2S 700 versus a 4S 350 that will fry the ESC?

All ready to fly (minus battery)

Yes I am lazy and do not have time to read 182 pages but I noticed they included a set of 3 blade impellers. Why is that and should I change them?

1 post in the past says the 3 blade allows you to run 3s on the stock 6a esc, thats what a lot of us assume it's for and some hope it works.

But ... lots of us have fried the stock 6a esc using the stock 5 bladed fans and 3s.

If you plan on upgrading the esc's to 10a's you can run the 5 bladed fans no prob.

Parallel for 700mAh 2s and series for 4s

Parallel would be where both positives and both negatives meet together into 1 connection.

Series would have 1 positive lead go to the other lipos negatve lead, so only 1 positive from 1 lipo goes to the esc and 1 negative from the other lipo goes to the esc.

WOW!!! That is impressive.
Are you also using two ESCs and two channels to get yaw control? It has fantastic agility however you've achieved it.
