Coroplast is available alongside any road in America, primarily in the urban and sub-urban areas. The sources of supply may be cleverly disguised as a sign saying "Vote for Dread, Judge" or "Yes on Proposition Ridiculous" or some such, but close inspection will reveal a nice piece (up to 48" X 96") of 3/16" to 1/4" coroplast.
Price is free for the asking, if you ask prior to election day and take the coroplast after election day.

The biggest I see around here is maybe 20 x 30, signs for contractors n such. But thats an awesome suggestion... The only good thing to come from an election around here methinks

You might also check with your particular city, municipality in regards to the legality of the signs. In my locality it is against city ordinance for buisinesses to place out signs at corners or attached to telephone poles etc. The city takes them down and puts them in a pile for the buisinesses who placed them to collect. Most never do and the city is happy to unload them to whoever asks, then they dont have to throw them away. Free is free. Then you can advertise for someone while you fly

P.S., scary photo. I hate clowns, aaaaaahhhh

Evil clowns rock!!!

What I'm looking to accomplish, is to build me some boxes for transporting my unlimiteds in, so I can use some small chunks, but will need some larger sheet stock was well. I have access to a aluminum brake, so nice bends will be EZ to do. Looks like a ride up to Darien will be in order soon... Luckily, thats not all that far from the SOAR sodfarm!

Maybe call Utrecht or Pearl Paint- art supply stores. Probably cheaper at a sign shop.

I build a couple of transport boxes out of coroplast. All I did was to cut out the flutes length wise and cut a 90 grove across (Routered really) the folded and pop riveted. Two nylon straps with plastic clips.
Works slicker then snot.

Thats pretty much what I envisioned, maybe something for the ends made out of some 1x12 or something, then make a lid like a pizza box, simple, light, should be sturdy!

BTW: You didn't make it out to our field Saturday did you? I was watching for strangers....

I tried....It would have cost another $500 to change my flight.

My boxes had the std folds on the ends and a top that slid over the bottom.
