Thank you very much AS. Yes, just read the article, really cool that it flew again 40 years later.

Cool story...pretty good build and detail work given he was building it in less than ideal conditions and the lack of internet connectivity back then...glad to see that the powers that be at AFSOC detemined it should be saved for historical purposes...excellent work

Remember J when I told you that yours should be put on display at AFSOC HQ @ Hurlburt field....

I agree.

I told John he could "loan" it to the Smithsonian museum (Seriously). The first time I went through it (Smithsonian) they had a B-25, a modeler made, completely out of aluminum. As I remember, it had about a 48" ws. John's could stand with the best of them and considering it flies it is incredible.

Yes, I do remember that John. Maybe someday that would be a good final resting place for it.

Thanks Dennis,
Appreciate the nice comments.

Hans did some work to the video of the AC-119K Stinger. This is dedicated to my great friend, adopted grandson, and supremely gifted R/C pilot Brent ( aka Corsair Nut) who is recuperating from surgery.
Sit back, crank up the volume, and enjoy!

John, I've been enjoying this thread, catching up on it as I've been away from RC for a year or so. What a great way to motivate ones self to get back into building something - so I read up on what I missed. I think I may call you "The Doctor" now, with a PHD in "Micro Aeronautical Engineering and Industrial Design". Well done Dr. John!

Thanks Eddie,
Have to admit I enjoyed it immensely. I had a great tech advisor that helped a bunch on details, he was a flight engineer on 119s.
