Yes, its a sweet plane, and the craftsmanship/build quality is STELLAR.
The plane is just under 2.5m, and comes with 36oz of ballast capability.

If they make a 3M version, I'd be all over one.
I have to wait and see how the smaller on goes. It might be great for tight in on technical F3F slopes.

The fuse front appears very similar to all the newer planes with the triangular cross-section forward (Cyril, Fosa, FS3, etc), but its STIFFER! The nose has some stiffening longerons encapsulated in glass that make it extremely stiff.

Great size for everyday flying. I should take a look at this one. I like this price point. It makes it more possible for more pilots to get a high end model experience. It keeps the resale price reasonable too.

I have to agree with Thomas, the wing planform looks a bit like the good old Calypso Cobra. But that is maybe not wrong for a sports slope model (forgiving behavior due to generous chords and easier to get torsionally stiff).

I saw on the pictures that it has a ballast tube in front and behind the joiner, which might enable CG neutral ballasting. Why do other manufacturers not do the same?

I've only had one plane go down at Fermin over the years that I couldn't get to by walking (carefully) to it. I ended up getting my 10' fishing pole, went to the bottom, and casted up to it with a 6oz sinker. That cracked a wing tip when I pulled it down, but better than a total loss

The side of the cliff isn't that bad once you get familiar with it.

Just the wing. But I need both! Its in a narrow spot between the shear cliffs and slight slope about 30-40' from the top, just above another shear cliff. I think a mountain goat would pass. Going in the morning with a few ideas.

All things considered, Im pretty lucky to have what parts I have and an easy repair.

Which plane going to bluff around 1 we could head down to fermin to help if needed. Ian

Thanks Ian. Went this morning. Tried a few things. Had it in a 5 gallon bucket on a rope but it just didn't work out. It's in a real tempting spot but not safe at all.

I just picked one of these up, white with red and bare carbon stripes. I should have it flying in a couple of weeks. I'm just not a big fan of the current trend of different colored nose cones, mine's a white fuse with red nosecone. Anyone have a white nosecone they'd want to trade for a red one?
