The model is very light and the wing span is large, those two factors compensate for the thrust requirement as the wing loading is very small for this model to take off and lift need to maintain a sustain flight.

Freewing Seagull

I recently got this model I can wait to fly it. It is actually 4 planes in one.

i have a bridge sky 15oo which is similiar it has the tail option but only prop so is a 2 in one cheers Brian

The wings are supported by wood rods several of them like a vain under the wing foil.

Seagull, that is a beautiful fuselage. I would make a mould of that so you can make it from fiberglass. Here is the fuselage of my raven:

Here is some of my attempts .
It's made from EPS block (two halves) only by cutting and sanding by hands. No CAD,CNC,plans etc.
It isn't hollowed yet but the weight is only 15 g ,the length is 43 cm ,width 13cm and the height is 10 cm .
