There was about 2.5 years between announced ready date and first deliveries - due to many factors. The molds were re-tooled at least twice and Ming took a bloody beating here on RCGroups the whole time. There was a new thread started just to get away from the negativity.

Enjoy the process - it only makes the success sweeter!

I would have forgotten it by then and spent my money else where. I'm glad I got it after it had already been out a while. These things are cool but not 2.5 years cool.

Quoting General Albert Wedemeyer, Commander American Forces in China – ‘Flying the Hump was the foremost and by far the most dangerous, difficult and historic achievement of the entire war.’

Gotta be a Hurricane. There are several references to the 'hump' in writeups as per example here.

'The centre-section and fuselage tubular structure was restored and awaiting installation of systems, ancillaries and the timber formers that provide the distinctive ‘hump-back’ Hurricane fuselage shape.'

I hope it is.

That's funny. I hope it's not Nemo or a Shark. Those have been already done.

Yes and my shark is sitting in the garage, deflated and covered with dust......I'll never learn.
