Why should I buy your product...

... if you can't even spell your ads correctly?

I understand that spelling errors happen, but am I crazy for thinking that vendors should at least proofread their ads before paying RCG to run them?

It's all part of the dumbing down of America.

I just heard last month the grade school where my 8 year old grandson attends might drop cursive writing.

ha! thats funny! yup the dumbing down of america. we rely too heavily on our tech based lived and the kids today are getting dumber and dumber with each new smart phone and tablet coming out. pretty soon nobody will be able to write a resume. my college professor says some employers want your resume in as little as 150 characters. my resume takes up three pages! (cover letter, resume, references.) i'm 19 and i'm ahead of the game.

I'm also 19, and my posts include capital letters. How far "ahead of the game" am I?

but this is the internet and a forum. the point of a forum is to get your message across. the general forum public wont worry too much about grammar and punctuation but will for spelling. you're also ahead of the game.

I'm way past 19 and I worry about grammar and punctuation.

I was taught (before PC was invented) it showed the intellect of the writer.

Are you sure that that isn't some brand name? Otherwise, I think someone failed their chinglish class.

My dad was a sign painter and I am a compulsive reader, so typos stand out like a sore thumb to me. Posting is one thing, immortalizing your poor spelling and English on a label or sign is another. I worked in a museum with a bunch of folks who were degreed...and NONE of them realized they'd spelled "dilation" as "dialation" on an exhibit until I pointed it out. I don't even have my degree...

Please understand I mean no offense by this, but I find your comments in this thread to be mildly amusing given the content being discussed and how your posts lack capitalization and proper use of punctuation... Otherwise, you make good points.
