Well since there has been no answer's...I'll put my two cents in...
This plane is toy grade, but approaches hobby grade, it would benefit more from elevator control maybe also rudder and changeable batteries.
It is amazingly good at S.T.O.L..
Mine is ok to fly in airplane mode but looses altitude in turns very quickly, these need addressing IMHO before better motors, go for it mate....

You can't, there's only one on-board ESC and even if it could start two motors wired in parallel it wouldn't be able to handle the amps (nor could you program it for differential thrust if that's what you have in mind). You'd have to go with separate ESCs and RX rather than try to use the 6400 brick.

Many thanks Tres I have done differential thrust before but used an orange rx, thought I could plug in a separate esc and wire that to the flap channel, and power it off the main battery after removing the BEC wire.
Didn't want to be the first to try and cook my brick, will go with two sec's and a spektrum rx.

Good luck, if you can get it to work it would be awesome It the tilt via a servo? I've never seen one up close.

Tres, there is a servo type affair with offset arms so the wings come up slightly off centre, and the motors are spun up independantly to control the rotation.
i am installing two servo's one for each wing and a couple of speed controllers, might work or might be something of nothing.

There's a plane in here somewhere with an external ESC wired into the NBL, so I don't see why you couldn't wire 2 of them in. He isn't using the internal one only the external. I'll try searching and remembering were I saw it.
TODD

Found it : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...&postcount=433 hope you have a programable TX.

Cheers Todd, I have a dx6i which you can mix to get differential, it's a double mix and the flap/gear channel mirrors the throttle with the rudder for mix.
Worked on a 10 xpv shadowhawk but the sec's were too heavy.
Thanks for the link BTW, but I think the ar6400 might have issues with 3.7g servo's.
Nick.

used the spare ar6400nbl and wired it with another esc and fed the bec wires to the servo's and took the signals from the board all works fine.
The gear channel is mirrored with the throttle and they both work as they should got to work out the servo arrangement next.

Installed the motors and the props they are both rotating in the same direction but one is spoiling up differently than the other, though they both mirror each other on the monitor screen.
I used this arrangement on a pair of brushed esc's on a different plane, so have just ordered a pair of brushless esc's will keep you posted.
Any suggestions of contrrotating props that will fit the Stryker motors would be appreciated.

Nice job on the progress! Are you setting it up with differential thrust? If so then you don't have to worry about the motors not spooling up together because you can adjust it with your trim (I went through something similar just recently, worked fine). I didn't bother with counter-rotating props on mine because with props this small it's not a big deal.

Tres, yes I am using differential, on mine, On the monitor screen the other motor was mirroring the throttle, but not in reality.
I have ordered two esc's but will still have a play with trim and mix.
Matched esc's is probably the way to go, Nick.
