Newbie - Common Sizes of Carbon ??

Heya guys,

I plan on placing a large order of EPP Foam, Carbon Tubes and or Carbon Rods but i don't really know what sizes of carbon to get.

I'm ordering 3mm, 6mm and 9mm EPP and will prolly build planes out of all, small ones for inside and larger ones for outside, standard fliers and VPP planes.

What diameter carbon do you commonly use for each thickness of foam and tube or rods??

Wing Spar
Elevator Spar
Fuselage Bracing
Servo Control Rods
etc etc

Cheers

Wing Spar -- 3mm tube for 6mm foam. -- 3 or 6mm tube for 9mm foam.
Elevator Spar Same as wing, but no 6mm tube. Just 3mm
Fuselage Bracing Depends on how you want to do it. 1mm sticks to make a zig-jag pattern, or just 3mm tubes
Servo Control Rods Probley 1-2mm sticks or 3mm tubes. Depends on size of plane.

Hope this helped

Would you use these as protection for the foam running along the edges so the foam doesn't crumble on impact ??
