The Endurance FPV Quad Thread
This thread will be dedicated to building an endurance FPV quad. Post your setup and all the details.
I'll go first.
450 Flamewheel frame with 16mm booms
360kv rc timer motors
Quadpack 25 ESCs
Right now I'm sitting at 2500g AUW weight and I'm seeing 17-18A hover. Still have yet to do an endurance run in 4S4P GEB cells

Ive been building a long endurance quad, following the the incredible amount of info laid out by Endofdays on here where he acheives 129 mins with a quad copter. I finally maidened the 18 inch propellers and like a total noob (this is my first scratch build) the voltage protectionin the naza software kicked on and landed the craft after only 13 mins. I corrected the voltage protection and lowered it to the proper setting, but the rain has kept me from flying for the last few days.
Im planning on summarizing it in a build log when i feel more of an accomplishment, and ill post the results here too, when the weather breaks. I built mine with a little more CF so I'd be thrilled to get more than an hour in the hover with a gopro.
