Sllloowwwww website

Is it just me or has Hobbykings web site been extremely slow the past two days? If it doesn't time out, it will sometime take upwards of a minute to load (it's only happening on the HK site)

I haven't noticed it to be honest but i know they have said on a YT video that when they did that big sale the other week, the site was slow because of all the traffic,so maybe it's because so many people are putting in orders for Xmas, just a thought.

Thats so weird. Its fine on this end. Maybe its just certain times? That or they have so many customers that they need to upgrade their servers

HobbyKing seems to have revamped their search function - maybe that was the reason for the slowdown?

i'm having the same problem. I'm trying to buy a couple of 30A plush esc's, but every time I click "add to cart" it takes 30 seconds to try and load, then chrome just says "the website took too long to respond", then I refresh the page, and it usually works and goes to my cart, but doesn't put the esc's into my cart. help?!

I think I found the solution - logging in from the home page doesn't work, but try logging in while you are viewing your cart - it worked for me

I AM A JESUS!!!!! I figured out a fix (google chrome only). just click the "add to cart" button, then immediately click the x next to the back/forward arrows in the top left corner. click "add to cart" again, and it works fine.

I can't use the site AT ALL. Those people are so lame, I wonder if they even know they have a BAD problem. This time of year too.

It's most likely slow because of the number of orders they are getting.
Their normal business, as best we can tell, is about 6000 orders/day. They may be double that right now just like last holiday season. Shipping got real slow last year because of the increase in orders and I'm guessing it's going to be the same this year. I wouldn't order anything from them right now that I needed before spring.

Anybody got any recent time for delivery data from HongKong?

Well, if people cannot get use the site, then how can anyone place an order?? Its not like everyone is placing orders except a few that cannot get onto the site. If the site is slamed, then EVERYONE can't get in; it's like a log jam.

I think it's just technical difficulties. They said they changed servers on the 28th ish of november, and now that they roll out a new search function it may have put too much load on the servers.

Yes, I agree they have technical problems! Hope they handle that better than their customer service, ha, ha.
