If you have a load (a bad load) and a low consumption first stage, the best way is to charge via a diode a sufficient capacitor supplying this frugal first stage: even if the main supply is disturbing, no care.
Ah hah! Finally something that I understand! I take it that you would put a scope on the circuit, to determine the offending frequency(ies). And, then, pick the diode and capacitor to bleed off that frequency. Or, would you just use components that would handle such a broad spectrum that you would be sure to catch the bad frequency(ies), anyway?

I like your out-of-the-box thinking regarding using a battery as a capacitor.

Andso, thank you for all that you are contributing to the project. You are, obviously, very skilled!

Have to ask, is there a course running somewhere for broken English ?
I blowed if I can follow a thing he says.

Oh, no... I meant that the electronic design conversation is so far over my head that I was glad to read something that I might know a little about... I'm sure that he has to work at understanding us, just as much. What an amazing time we live in... Turn on an electric box and collaborate with a new friend on the other side of the world.

Yes, I know I used three emoticons... Just for fun...

Tx/Rx disabling

And that is now i need collaboration for validate:
The idea is to disconnect the Tx/Rx lines when Vdd is ON on the ICSP --> DONE
and after the MCLR/Vpp line go On enter in pgm mode. But i have add
a manuel switch for the annoying non-functionning cases.
In the next weeks i'll check this.
note:
V1/4 part of 74HC4066 invert the Vdd On issued of the ICSP to have a low input to 74HC4066
and disconnect the Tx/Rx lines

My schema is not compliant with the actual software. I have had a look, but if you agree, that is for you: i am learning python and QT to give a front-end (in french: c' est pas gagné).
And, again if you agree, i have to design the boards

@jakestew
as i am still discovering the great work done, on my open-source system (except eagle...) :
in your script you mention
FilePath = "C:\stim\RPM_value.txt"
FilePath = "C:\stim\key_value.txt"
and in your "CDI 1840 simulation ReadMe.txt" you say:
Create directory C:\stim and copy the two text files into the directory
but you do not furnished them, and the path is good only in window environnement!

Because i am curious, on your page http://unimatrixtech.com/2_stroke_engine_tech.htm
all the links give a 404 error...

@bluejets
i do what i can (verifying often with a dictionnary)!
try to write what you said in french: this will be funny for me!
And correct me on my technical work...(schematics)

@ anhalt
I have take in your considerations, and the remarks on the links you have posted.
Correct me if forget something.

@Tee One Dee
It is possible for you to play eagle with the new actual non functional board.

Pete (doubletop) did all the work on the simulator. The files should be in one of his posts in this thread.

Ray mirrored some stuff there. All the v2/OTF/servo stuff is just scattered in this thread. Info on the v1.0 setup can be found here...

Just FYI: Silicon Chip has an update to their CDI from 1997 in the December 2014 issue. Probably too bir to fit on a model airplane, but should work fine on a motorbike or car.
