The tape on my wings runs from wing-tip to wing-tip. The tape is strapping tape - not packaging tape. It's the tape with fibre in that runs lengthways. There is no stretch it in whatsoever.
Once its down and the vinyl over the top, you would struggle to bend the wing without a spar. LOL!! Like the one below. I have covered my Z2 with the Carbon, and you can not see the tape underneath, and there is zero flex - I have not lammed it.

I only have one pic so far - will get more soon.
So in this Z2 I have strapping tape over the spars, and a couple of other strips elsewhere on the wing - under the vinyl. Once it's sprayed with 77 and stuck down - it ain't going nowhere. ![]() Middle section will be red. and will hopefully get that down this weekend.
