Testing going well despite the week of constant rain, high winds, and snow... But he review must go on.

Got in 8 cold but sunny flights tonight.

Tuesday I put it through the torture test of drizzle and 20+Mph winds!

Hailey helping Daddy out. Love her! Like me she will grow up at the flying field.

Doesn't get much lower than his crop circle. Well it does but with a bad outcome...

Will your review be in the April/May issue of RCHP magazine? I looked at the previews in the mag website, but didn't see mention of the 350CFX. Seems like it would be, to coincide with the late April release.

Ships to consumers in two weeks. They don't update the website all the time... I did the final ok on the review layout yesterday. It looks awesome! I need to hire a professional photographer for all my future reviews.

After almost 30 flawless flights on the upcoming Blade 300 CFX I put her in inverted and stripped out all of the cyclic servos. As a student training machine I'm not looking to rebuild servo gears all season so I searched and found a great 1 for 1 metal geared servo replacement. The Hitec HS5055's are the perfect MG drop in. Plus you can buy them from HH for $18 each

Here are all the pictures from the servo install on my Facebook page

Flight Report: I've logged 36 flights on the Blade 300CFX in the last 18 days. It flies great, motor and ESC holding up fine, no death rolls or BeastX issues as seen in past 300X's. I stripped out the cyclic servo gears messing around doing inverted crop circles and threw in a set of HS-5055MG's ($18 MG servos) and those held up great in another dumb thumb crash that was my fault yesterday. Threw on a new set of skids/tail case and logged 5 more flights on it today! Review in RC Heli Pilot magazine ships this week.

The little 300CFX looks nice and it's good to know the Hitec 5055MG's drop right in. Looking forward to reading the review in the magazine but please keep posting updates here too.

Thanks,

dawg
