I have the ClearView flight sim and I have played with the Apprentice with the beginner mode on.
You can bang the sticks from stop to stop and the plane just makes graceful, sedate and delicate movements and returns to straight and level flight when the sticks are released.
ClearView is a free download and the Apprentice is the plane that comes with the free demo version.
If you do get the sim, put the Apprentice into a tight high-banked turn and it does a massive tip stall. Not what I'd be happy with in a trainer.
I didn't know you could change the flight modes of the Apprentice in Clearview. Gotta try that. How do you do that? I assume it's channel 5 or 6. What are the throws? -100, 0 and +100? I'm using a TH9 running er9x.

At the top of the ClearView screen click on Auto Pilot.
Click Advanced Settings
Set 80 in all the boxes. Or 90 or whatever you fancy . 100 give you no control over the plane.
Have Level Flight Training Mode selected.
Click Enable Auto Pilot.

Fly and move the sticks to full deflection as clumsy as you can. All will be smooooth.

Thanks mate! Have a tinnie on me.
Being clumsy is not going to be too hard for me...

The beverage can and the aluminum boat are the most common usages now in Oz.
In this part of the world a tinnie is often loaded up with tinnies and said tinnies are downed whilst the tinnie is at sea.
Your humble scribe does not participate.

So, do they do a lot of beer fishing in OZ, like out on the Great Barrier reef? There are a fair number of beer hunters up here in MI in the fall. Several years ago, a couple with a van full of dead ones blew through the stop at end of Capac rd. Down at the corner and T-boned the side of the 5 ft. ditch. Fortunately their "hunting activity" made them limp enough to only get minor injuries.
