direct drive main motor discussion
i would like to build a direct drive main motor for a 250 size helicopter. i currently have in my possession a 24 slot 57mmx4mm stator from a vcr, and an 18 slot stator from a ditto tape drive thats a bit smaller.
what i want to know is which one woould be the best for this application? i believe i need 4000 rpm or so at 4s.
lend me your thoughts. all the links on this matter ive found are dead, sadly. apparently im getting into this game late.

Well, yes. Thats true. But a lot of those rcg threads reference charts and things on the powercroco site, or have very dead photos.
I just joined the yahoo lrk group, ill see what i can find there
