I know my wife would have spent $100 on the paint ball shoot down if it had been there.

Maybe some type of deterrent to motorized vehicles on the WALK SIDE of the banner line. - Especially at night, with no lights, with alcohol involved.

I missed doing the paint ball venue......
But it is a lot of work and involves a pretty good investment to make it happen.

I think all flight lines could benefit from a wooden direction arrow showing current flight path being flown.
I felt as if some where not comfortable doing right hand patterns for landing and came in downwind.
The winds did seem to shift allot and the stick mounted arrow could improve things.

In regards to combat, why not to a timed round? For example, lets do 8 minutes, most hits win.
Have everyone launch and once all are in the air, blast a horn and start the timer. Do a 1 minute warning with 2 blasts, and again at 30 seconds, then a long blast to mark the end of 8 minutes. That keeps the round short, and lets folks fly as they see fit. You can fly fast passes thru the middle of the fray, or slow and hyper maneuverable tight flying if thats what you like for combat..

I'd just like to ask that it be made very clear, both to pilots and vendors, that nobody and I mean nobody should be flying during noontime demos except the groups putting on the demos. Also there should NEVER be anybody flying while Mac's B-29 is up. That is just courtesy to the host, and even if you are a paying vendor, you don't have special permission to fly during the demos, or to be flying while walkin behind the flight stations...period.

Heck...we just need a Hawiian Tropic weeklong swimsuit contest to run concurrently with SEFF. Instead of the typical fashion runway, though, they have to walk the flightline all week.

Using a vertical turnaround after the downwind leg skirts the issue of turns directed into crowd, but everyone would need to the do the same style to avoid high speed collisions from opposite directions (probably enter high exit low so that you don't have aircraft descending from high above as they cross the crowd, where deviation from intended path could put it further into the crowd vs further into the dirt). Though the ground at that turnaround area could be a scene of considerable carnage, if flutter or high speed stalls take their toll.
