Help me to choose best electronics for hydrofoam.
Hello! I wanted to ask for help,i have built something like this:
 And i need to buy motor,propellers,ESC and battery for this hydrofoam,what you would recommend,i need good motor with reserve thrust and so on... Would it be good setup? You've built "something like" the picture... How close is it in size, design, etc.? It would be easier to make recommendations if we know exactly what we're dealing with and not an approximation; small differences can have a big effect.
The components you've chosen are matched fairly well. I wouldn't go above a 7" prop on that motor with a 3S battery, though. Also, Master Airscrew props are terrible. Go with APC-E or even "APC-style" props instead. |

If you are going to fly from water the motor would have to be mounted on a pylon. Otherwise the prop will be in the water and you will never get enough speed to take off.
Please supply a picture of what you have built. And as mentioned above supply the specs. Wing span Fuselage length Weight Glen |
