New Costco Heli

Has anyone seen the new coax heli that they are selling for the Holidays at Costco? I saw a pallet of them tonight at a Costco in Irvine CA for about $34each. They are constructed of metal, have a gyro, and yes, they are made in China. I am just wondering if anyone has tested one out yet.

So, are they sub-micro 3 channel infrared controlled type or are they larger, RF controlled?

Is this it? if it's $34 in store that's much cheaper than the online price:

Yes! I saw them...I will be picking one up sooner or later.
It appears to be a 9074 clone.

Looks alot like The DH 9074 that uses a wall charger.
The Costco clones however uses two usb plugs to charge it.
RF transmitter uses a 9 volt battery.
Comes with a spare tail rotor and two connect buckles.
Here is the instruction manual

Guess I will have to visit Costco to check this out

I think I'll pass...........only if they start selling them for less than $30 I'd consider it. Prefer 4 channel coaxials, so much better. I'd wish Costco or Sam's Club would bring in a Esky Lama V4 for less than $50, I'd be all over that, I'd pick up several! Tired of junky poor responding and poor performing cheapo 3 channel toys.

If they have them at My local Costco I will pick one up on saturday.
I like the bigger heli's that I can fly indoors and outside. If it has smooth Yaw control I will be happy.

Confirm or dismiss my speculation, KB, that only the throttle is proportional.

What's odd if you look at the IR codes, ALL the functions have the same number of bits as THR does yet only THR has any proportionality. Sometimes half of them are used for reverse, sometimes there's a separate RVS bit. In some codesets, RUD TRM is even sent as a separate codeblock.

RF is not restricted by bitcount, only by clock rate, how small/large the increments of pulse position.

Over my head...by choice, some things I avoid learning to keep free HDD space in my Gulliver.

Probably only the tail speed, maybe the yaw rate.
