Abu Dhabi Indoor Flying Group

Hi There All,

We have been granted permission to use Hall 5 of the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Centre, 19:00 to 23:00, every Tuesday evening, for indoor flying. This is a milestone event for RC in the UAE, and all flyers are requested to abide by the rules.

Please collect your membership application and rules at Future RC, opposite the new Al-Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi.

Hope to see you all soon !!

Francois

Hi There ADIF members,

The schedule for the next 3 weeks will be hall 5, on the 5th, 12th and 19th of June. Watch this space for notification regarding the next 3 weeks.

Contact me should you have any queries or questions. Approach Future RC, should you have any equipment requirements, they stock the biggest selection for indoor flying. The other outlets also stock electric RC, but cater more for the outdoor market. Get a second opinion if you are going to buy Chinese, there are mostly excellent products out there, but a couple of absolute dud's are doing the rounds in the UAE. Do NOT try to join with supermarket type aircraft, they do NOT have sufficient control to maneuvre indoors, and also do NOT comply with our frequency limitations.

Regards,

Francois

We have had a very active outdoor program in this region. From autogyros to 7m turbine powered gliders FYI.

If so let me know as im part of the Northern Ireland team and have been asked by the events committee to host an indoor event on the Wednesday of the competition . This im hoping will be supported by the 32 countrys that are taking part and they will be informed of the date etc. next week .

It looks like you have adequate space to fly over. Yeah, lots of Mercedes at my flying field too.

That turboprop is awesome. Looking forward to those indoor pics. Let us know if you have questions. Many of the world's best frequent this forum.

My parents lived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for about two years before I was born.
