Yes definitely love whipping through turns super quick. If you have not flown one. Better grab yourself one. I know you like your balsa sharks (me too) the voodoo really performs really well. I highly recommend this bird..
Can't wait to get my hands on one of those 1m balsa sharks.

I remember the slice in your leg from a few videos ago.! That was a close one..

Hi Guys,
I'm looking at building a VooDoo. I have a Het 2W 4600kv motor.
Can any recomend a ESC, Batt and prop setup for this motor?
I would like to keep it light on a 2s setup to start with then at a later date go up to a 3s setup.

Cheers,
Paul.

Thats a chinese copy of the mega 16/15/2, so any of the posts in this thread that apply to the 15/2 will work for you to a large degree.

Basically -

2S - 4.7x4.7 / 5x5 and 50A esc - 130ish mph
3S - 4.1x4.1 and 60A esc - 160+ mph

I have many flights on Great Planes Rifles with the Mega 16/15/2 on 3S, 4.1 x 4.1. Depending on the strength of your battery it'll draw 55A - 63A static, average out to about 43A - 47A airborne (flying full throttle):

I always used Castle Creations Thunderbird 54 ESC:

Of course, I always flew full-throttle the entire flight (about 2 min. with an 1800mAh), so that was probably easier on the ESC and it didn't get as hot as it would have at partial-throttle settings.

(Hi Chris!)

I agree with Tim and Chris on all accounts.

I used the same motor on my voodoo with the T-bird 54. I used 3s only which was a great speed/weight ratio..
On 2s a 4.75x4.75 would pull nicely and allow you to trim it in, get used to the flight envelope.

I love my voodoo, talk about tight very fast turns..

Voodoo pylon racer (fast) (5 min 22 sec)

Holy cow!!!

Damn Jesse, that VooDoo is no joke! That's with a Neu motor? I know they are not cheap, but seems like a lot of power. That's on 3s as well? Nice job!!
