I had my Pop Wing out this evening and it was sort of windy. I have to admit - this wing has become my number one windy flyer! I can fly it in slightly heavy wind and I'm not scared to fly it in windy conditions at all. lol. Man, I just love flying this wing.

I'm also going to say - I think flying this Pop Wing has made my flying ability much much greater. I think it took me from a novice to advance novice or higher. I'm not an expert but I can fly this wing in windy conditions and still do rolls and lops and fight the wind. lol.

I just wish I could get more time than I'm getting now from the three year old 3-cell 2200mah battery I'm using. I get about six minutes or so before I noticed a power reduction and then I land. I have a 2800mah 3-cell but I think that just might be too heavy.

Are there any other wings out there that matches the fun of these Pop Wings?

Finally, I had my old electric glider covered with LEDs a few years ago and it was a blast flying at night. I've been thinking of putting some LEDs on this wing and I think I can fly it so good I'm going to go ahead and break out the LEDS and try to put some on!

I Know it right? I can't believe it my self!! Handles the wind like nothing I've seen. I have the ARF version and use 3s 2200 50+ c rating batteries. I get 16min of time in the air at half or less throttle. With my LEDs on I get 12 min of time.
I made my old 900mm popwing into a hot rod (424 watts on 11.2 oz plane) using the P400 -ZOOM motor from HURC, 40 amp esc, 7x5 prop, same 65c 2200 3s batteries, getting 10 min of time, if you keep you finger off the throttle , and fly half. I now have two 900mm and a mini, I'm not even a wing man. But so much fun to fly. I just got in from flying myself.

MS-Composite Swift II

These are a bit smaller (810mm) and normaly have a lighter setup. On calm days / relaxed flying I prefer the Swift .

There's also a Swift mini and the huge 1.5m Maxi Swift.
Hacker model also sells theire version of the Swift as the Sky-Carver
