Dymond super Charger or FMA Supernova

hi
i am looking to charge my gp 3300 cells. I couldnt get a hold of fma. I noticed the supernova can only handle cells up to 3000 mAH, vs Dymond that can handle up to 5000 mAH.

Anyone have any thoughts which is better charger?
thanks

I have the Dymond and I'm happy with it. It's about $40 cheaper as well. Note that some people have had some issues with the buttons freezing up on the Dymond, but this seems to be easily fixed with contact cleaner. I believe that both charges will charge at up to 5 amps.

The Supernova works great with the GP3300s.

I am using both. They both can charge up to 5000 mAH depends on how many cells you have in your pack. I am in favor of the Dymond, because of the easy menu (IMHO), but the black color of the case will get hot in the sun during the summer.

i would plan on charging gp 3300 cells, 12 at most in a pack.
so both dymond and supernova could do both safely?

I have had BOTH and the SuperNova did better on the 2600's I have. The Turbo would false peak... Sold the Turbo. YMMV.

On the supernova, I thought it only comes with 10 preset charging parameter. DO u have to change the settings to charge the gp 3300 ?

Also, hows the cycling on the supernova. I would like to cycle some gp 3300 before using them.
thanks
this is truly a great site with lots of friendly help

The supernova comes with presets but they are all changable and they stay untill you reset the device (same on the Surbo). I found the Supernova a little harder to program then the SupeTurbo, but once you "get" it it is fine. One thing that bothers me about the SuperNova is that a discharge is always followed by a charge... so if you want to empty batteries to store them you need to be right there when it is done dumping. The up side is it handles bigger packs better in my opinion. My Zagi packs did great on the Turbo, but when I got some larger packs for bigger olknes they would false peak sometimes... No false peaks on the SNova. Again, I sold the Turbo and kept the Nova. I now use the Nova and a Orbit Pro.
