Question
Trusted Online Store for RC stuff?

Hello

I'm in the process of re aquiring EVERYTHING to get back on the R/C hobby. (old time gas flyer, now into electrics)

I'd like to hear some comments on GOOD reliable online stores, that you trust your money and Credit card to.

I going for alot of gws stuff.

This is question is because I've sent some emails to some sites, and received no reply.

So, the opinion of more experienced buyers and flyers is appreciated.

And very usefull for beginers.

Maybe a simple rating, in Speed, reliability, honesty.
So we don't flame anyone.

(I hope I'm not breaking any forum laws)

best flying to all.

www.Balsapr.com is a pretty nice e-store if you're into GWS products. I've e-mailed them a few times and usually get a reply on the same or the next day. They stock alot of their items and shipped my order really fast. You might also want to try www.GWSExpert.com and http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0002p.pgm?M=GWS

I like www.cheapbatterypacks.com for my battery needs. (mostly NiMH)

I like www.allerc.com for GWS planes and miscellaneous stuff.

I like www.hobby-lobby.com for their sales and reasonable prices on planes and someaccessories. (they'll try to rape you on others)

I like www.balsapr.com for their brushless motor/ESC combos. While I do trust them, they are out of stock on half their inventory at any given time. Or maybe it's just half the stuff I'm looking for?

I like www.towerhobbies.com and www.horizonhobby.com for one-stop shopping. But I don't like that I have to pay tax AND shipping to them. (I'm an IL resident)

I'll double everything in that list but point out that I'll try to find what I need from Allerc first, then BalsaPr, and if all else fails hit the larger stores. I'll buy from Tower over Hobby Lobby anytime, HL is like pulling teeth. Just a horrible website. From a large company I expect a little bit more professional listings and better layout for ways of taking my money without making me grind teeth.

And for Lipo's I've been buying them from www.xushobby.com but there are other cheap lipo's that people like from www.commonsenserc.com and I'll likely give them a try next.

Edit: having said that, about to order from HL because they're the only store with 8ft of fuel tubing, $9 servo's, and dubro micro E-Z connectors.

Motion RC is one of my favorites for planes. For batteries, ESCs, and other accessories you can't beat HobbyKing. Lemon-RX for receivers. Horizon for radios. Never had any trouble with any of these places.

Heads-Up Rc. Fast, cheap shipping, and they have a pretty large selection of stuff too.

Valuehobby for anything especially lipo batteries. Their sister company is motionrc. Both great.

Headsuprc is good too. Graysonhobby , hobbypartz , and hobbyking.

I will be looking into what others have listed . Maybe I will find a new favorite!
