that Monarch's been sitting for about a year also ...

Today was great at the Water Tower. 15mph+ straight in the slope my Gulp SR had 2 slugs in it so it was close to 45oz. Had a hard crash while DSin' but it's easily repairable. My newest member the EPP Limit EX also had lotsa fun in the nice lift. I wish it didn't rain but still a great session .

Kite Hill

Evening Jordan;
was up at Kite hill today and wind kept changing from S. to W. but mainly a South.
Talked about going over there, but saw the rain coming at Top of the World and thought I'd save myself a trip. You just confirmed it!
Did you get the 40lbs of mud on your feet being the day after the rain?

I didn't fly today. I flew Yesterday, and left right when it started to come down...

I was working below the backside of the water tower. Wind seemed good especially since I was down in a canyon. Hope to get out to Lilly's tomorrow.

We flew at Oakley Hill the last 2 days. Nothing great, but some booming thermals at times. Kept checking Lagina and never saw any good weather there, so stuck with Oakley. We had a good time.

Wind was kinda weird today, slightly too s and really gusty. We still had a good time though some good combat and thermals. We also started messing around with the gophers. They would pop out of the holes, and if I slowly stuck my antenna near it, it would bite it really quick and sink back in the hole. Soon we were surrounded by 3 of em it was like whack-a-mole but without a hammer ...

Sunday was the same at Kite Hill. Out of fustration I said I was off to Lilly's and if no good I had chores to do!
Chored did not get done!
Got up to maybe 18 . Flew the Spirit Elite as a test plane. Went up fast, so ran to the car and pulled out the DG-1000. It flew great and fell in love with a scale plane but came in too fast for grass landing and
Soooooo, I went to car again for F3F Preditor. Now I flew her in 25+ at Banning and was so stoked on how well she responded on first flight so had to try her out at Home team advantage.... Right then Tony came out and he like my big new 3m ship. Not as fantastic as flying in 25 - 30 but still very sleek and smooth.
Going to meet Adrian tomorrow there around 3:00 and fly some F3's. Also have the DG ready to try again
Wayne... What in the world are you waiting for! Get your license dude!

I got out to Lilly's this evening. I flew the C-Hawk in light to no wind. It was what I needed today. Some 30mph sloping would be good too.

Set up a testing time with one of the club officers, you may know one of them. Bring your paperwork and current AMA card and a happy, compliant,patient disposition, along with your plane and radio and flying skills, the last one being pretty important.
