Home made swingarm,triples

Here are some pics of a billet swingarm made from 5000 alloy and
triple clamps made from 5mm plate.
Also a set of crash bar mounts ,a set of franks brakes and a decent sticky tyre to complete.
Will also make a top servo plate brace soon.

Nice work

Nice work on the swingarm.

I recentley made a set of triples, but made both to clamp as you have made your bottom one,I think it makes for a more rigid set up,either way it's a lot better than the plastic crap in the kits

If you make any more,it's a good idea to put the steering connection in line with the middle pivot pin to give equal steering both ways, but you'll probably have to cut holes in the fairing to clear the swivel joint.

If you do make a set of top and bottom clamp type triples you'll need some longer fork legs.

Nice job on the swingarm. I cracked another cast arm on my nitro bike during practice at the races. Luckily Phil A. had one of the older milled arms for me, so I'm set for a while.

The NF factory bike was sporting the new dual arm, and they told me it would be available at the end of September. It is still cast, but looks to be stronger than the single one.
