I have trouble viewing the videos from china too. It almost seems like its the same programmed pcb for all their fbl heli. With the programming and the wind, I don't think he could get it flying the way he really wanted to. I use to wonder why Walkera have so many rx. They tweak each rx for a particular heli for best performance and not the same rx for every heli.

Ric, yeah I hear ya, but sub $100, the FX's are allot of performance........

whilst they use the same basic board I'm pretty sure each is setup differently, they mark them as to what version it is on the underside. 070 / 071 / 073 / 079

the fact that the 070 board is mount sideways vs the 071 means the gyro setting will be different for sure between those two boards for a start not even sure what the 073 and 079 look like ??

the 067 isn't on the version list on the underside of my various FX boards , the sales text refers to a second generation setup, wont know until one arrives and gets peeled open for a look see I guess.......

just wish we could sort a better tx, have wondered about swapping the FX Tx electronics into the larger WL remote just to get something with better stick feel.

somewhat less impressed now the price has jumped from $86 to $112.......

once it's over $100 I'd sooner just spend the extra $$$ and buy a Walkera Master CP with a decent TX unit.........

Well the batteries have arrived from HK

These look nice, 1800 mah and a featherweight 95 grams. Scale where on a wrong setting ! Think i might ditch the jst plugs and go for the beefier plugs like on these batteries....

Interesting heli

Hi
I am interested in this heli but I do not find too much info available. It looks cool and also with good features but I am not sure about the quality, that's my greatest concern about this heli.

Please if someone can help I would appreciate it. I am planning on buying the solo pro 228P which is more or less same price as the fx067, I know nine eagles is a good brand so I can buy with confidence.

228P is a nice heli, but is old school flybar type, the FX is larger and being FBL way more agile.
NE has the nicer remote controller of the two.

I think the 228 is a very good unit, just hasn't been that popular as initially they where quite expensive.

Finally arrived, nice unit, and light; 340 grams without the battery.

real lightweight minimalistic design, I like it.

the usual only just snug to occasional loose screws around the airframe. Main battery plug is a real odd ball, looks like 2.5mm push in pins in a one off plastic housing.

Tail blade is FX078 / FX 071 sized which is kind of a surprise given the main rotor size / torque that this thing is going to generate. the old FX052 tail rotor is allot bigger. 912 / 913 tial rotors will be options as well if the hold is weak with this little blade..........

Adding a heat sink to the main motor and charging the battery ! looking forward to air under the rotors on this one !

pics to follow
