Art-Tech P-51D Mustang 500 class gap and collet issue
I have an issue with the 1mm gap that is supposed to be between the back of the spinner and the fuselage. My gap is much larger than that. See attached pictures. It seems the collet is too short for this motor shaft. What can be done to shorten the gap?
I also have an issue with the collet that came with the plane. There is not a way to lock\hold the collet from spinning the motor shaft when tightening the propeller nut. When I try to tighten the propeller nut onto the collet the collet spins the motor shaft and I am unable to tighten the nut.
A wrench came with the plane and I am not sure what it would be used for. It seems to me that if the collet had a flat\slotted area on it the wrench could be used to fit in the 1mm gap to keep the collet from spinning the motor shaft during tightening. Let me know what you think.

Hi NEOH Flyer! May I please have the respective order number for this plane so I could perhaps arrange for a technician to get in touch with you to iron out this issue? Thanks! -Seba
