White House Interested in Cybersecurity Debate

White House is sending legislation regarding cybersecurity.

Wonder if his use of such for fundraising and brainwashing could be considered cyber attacks?

I believe we are very close to the 'no return zone' regarding the internet.

They will need to shut it down a few times real soon (so the public becomes dull to it).

If they don't .. all hell will break out when it happens.

These mandarins will never be able to work in the dark again. Everyone can see everything..

Hallelujah!

Again more "white house" (ie Obama?) hyperbol. If researched, the new bill is sponsored by Sen. Susan Collins(R), and Sen. Joe Lieberman(I). Sen. Collins stated, "The emergency measures in our bill apply in a precise and targeted way only to our most critical infrastructure" and " My Legislation would provide a mechanism for the government to work with the private sector in the event of a true cyber emergency" and "It would give our nation the best tools available to swiftly respond to a significant threat".

I have this one:

http://news.cnet.com/8301-13578_3-10320096-38.html

and this:

“This important legislation creates a win-win opportunity for not only our economy, but for the first responder community as well. Seamless, dependable, integrated communication is the most important safeguard to an effective response and the state of West Virginia continues to build its interoperable system to match the federal framework. This bill is critical to the support of communications infrastructure nationwide.”

I've watched Rockefeller and Lieberman in action on C-SPAN and consider them dangerous.

I'm sure the governments own network will not fail to operate while the public internet is down.

Ham & CB radios are handy.

Viewing congress in action is like walking into a clean rest room that smells of air freshener and you know the smell is a cover-up!
