Thumbs Down Horizon- UPDATE post 6 and 12

I sent my RX in for repair. Today is 7 business days since HH has received it. They quote a 7 day turn around and they still haven't even looked my RX yet. The RX was "checked in" and that's it. I just want too fly again. Anyone else have to wait a while before they started repair?

My product was assigned to a technician today at 12:06:15 PM. It was ready to ship at 12:06:16 PM. I guess 1 second of work was all that was required. They also changed their website to say 9 days for electronics service, mine took 9 days even though it was 7 when I sent it in. Thanks Horizon!

Was it an AR500 RX? I sent mine back when it glitched on the maiden flight of my PT-19 (causing a bad crash). To their credit they sent me an upgrade to a 6 channel RX that is $20 more than the AR500. I was happy with their customer service.

AR6100e, but I think they fixed it because those are discontinued now or they are sending me the AR6110e or the DSMX AR6115e in hopes that I upgrade my radio.

I don't get why anyone uses UPS or Fed Ex ethier. It's even cheaper (and quicker) for big pckages to use USPS.

I sent them two 7 channels last year for upgrade of the firmware. They sent me two new ones, no charge and no questions asked. Then my 7 channel died (it was one of the earliest versions) so I sent that in for repair. They sent me a whole new system, TX, RX, and servos. The only thing they did is put my high quality aftermarket battery in the TX.

How can you say anything bad about that kind of service?
