I was just browsing forums. I used to have this plane. I miss it! I see they are no longer available. I bought mine at Tower about 5 years ago. I sold it to clear space. I hate when I do that!

Anybody know where to find a kit?

Unbuilt, Caliber hobby list them for $50.00. Best offer takes it plus shipping cost.

I'm quite interested in a Tiger Moth and a Beaver. Both of those are listed; but they are not actually available for order.

I suspect that when GWS does release them, they will be re-priced higher

Regards

So sad. The TM 400 was such a wonderful plane.

Love the Moth 400 -- great flyer! Had mine out yesterday and really enjoyed flying it.

I consider myself very fortunate that I bought a couple of the TM 400's many years ago. I still have one sitting NIB, not built, along with an additional Pico TM. The GWS Pico TM and TM 400 planes are a couple of the best flying planes ever made, IMHO. Along with the Slow Stick, the Pico TM and TM 400 got me into the electric side of the hobby, and I've never looked back!

I finally got around to fitting brace wires to the wings on my Pico moth and my 400. Amazed how rigid the wings are now

Might be nice if another company would pick up the Beaver and TMs. Volantex makes a very close copy of a Ares Gamma 370. And the Ares Gamma 370 is a "close" copy of the GWS E-Starter. I think that shows there's room for sales, and for "heritage" versions.

Me too, they are an amazing plane to have. I was fortunate enough to have my TM 400 which was acquired back in 2004. It always gets compliments. Just wish I had a spare though.
