The yellow and red wing tips in Report #220 are mine. Got them back from Alvaro on Wed. They look great, but better then that is the plane flew great! The smile on my face says it all. Good work takes time. My flying partners will be calling for repairs they want done.

Thank you, please do check the lateral GC as in the repair I added quite a bit of material for structural strength.

The white/red one doctor! I schlepped a quick paint job on the tips with some rattle can paint but it will need to be seen by the Doctor! The wing that was absolutely gone is back like nothing ever happened and the two wings were only 1 gram different in weight! :-o

It was carbon cloth hanging off the last 12" of that wing! Alvaro manufactured a tip and resurrected the whole plane in the process!

Alvaro, the NYX F3F held up at Torrey with a maiden at 150% ballast in 20-25MPH. I even whacked it inadvertently on one of the many Ground Squirrel mounds. It is actually much stronger than the other tip which was repaired from a much lesser repair. Very nice, I am STOKED!
