Skipper is exactly the size of 100% Polaris. Ultra is approximately 120%, which means 144% wing area.

We will be releasing the Skipper XL soon (next few weeks), which is being purchased from the same supplier as MA, was getting the Polaris Ultra. It is from the same molds, and not a copy. This will be of benefit for you guys needing parts.

We will have kits, and PNF versions of the model.

Paul,

If this is true it is a very disturbing development. Model Aero owns the Polaris Ultra molds. We never authorized Tim to use our molds for anyone but us.

Yet another reason not to deal with Hobby King. Welcome to China!

Stunning. I have to wonder how it can be the same molds but not a copy? Seems, I dunno, a load?

Must make it easy for the "design team" though, eh?

Surely even in China ownership of the molds must mean something--but I expect the issue is the expense of making one's way through the legal system....

O/K, that had to be stupid or they are trying to tease Scott about their legal system?

Perhaps it's due to where I grew up and the fact I owned my own business for a decade and felt I had some integrity, but one of the last things I would do is join this forum to publicly post I was going to start production of a copy, (regardless of statement, if true this is what it is) using equipment owned by someone else.

Anyone else watch Top Gear? In one episode they visited China to check out how their "Copies" of luxury cars compared to the real versions. Some hilarious names for what looked like they came from Germany and Japan, (on the outside, at least).

Don't suspect Honda wants to be reminded, as well.
