Question
Will this give my Ikarus Yak 54 good power??

just a quick question, will this motor:

Be good to have a light, powerful shockflyer?

Based on the specs, you'll have PLENTY of power for that yak. If you keep the airframe nice and light you'll be able to hover at a bit less than half throttle. Go for it.

Ok, cool thanks! Do you know what would be a good prop? I have a GWS 9*4.7 I have tested with a smaller battery (The 3 cell hasn't come yet, for now, I'll use 2 cell 800 mAh) and the motor gets a little bit too warm for my liking. I haven't flown the plane yet, just been doing some testing with props. Will an apc 8*3.8 help with this???
