Hangar 9 Super Cub & O.S. .91 FX?
Guys, is an O.S. .91 FX sufficient to power a Hangar 9 Super Cub? R/C Report
reviewed the engine as having 158 oz. thrust with a Zinger 15X6, and from previous posts I calculate
the total weight including radio and this engine to be 191 oz. The specs list a .91-1.48 2-stroke.
I imagine I will need a pitts muffler to clear the firewall.
What torque servos would you recommend?
Any comments? Thanks.

Is that the 80" Hangar 9 Cub ?? If so a 91 is way more power than you need.
I have a friend that has one that uses a 51 4 stroke, and it's more than adequate.

i would say that the .91 will not be enough power for the 1/4 scale cub. the guys around here are running the g-26 gassers in that plane with good results
