I hope, but I doubt it. Absolute minimum is the 51 slick price ($240), however, there is a second send of wings, additional linkage, etc..., I think closer to $300 will be much more realistic.

got to see joe smith fly this plane at the Ohio huckfest today. It looks amazing and it appears to be a much larger plane in real life than these photos do.

Yes, his demo or practice flight with the Slick was also amazing...loved the inverted stationary flat spin at show center...very cool.

I cant see how it should be priced much higher than the AJ Slick? Regardless of the 'bipe complexity factor' it's got to be priced to compete with planes in the same size/performance class. Your price puts it up against the 57-59" Edges, Extras and Slicks in the 3DHS line up, not to mention making it significantly higher in price than the excellent 60" offerings from EF.

I like the look of the bipe but if it were at or above the price point of the models I mentioned I know where my money would go

But we are all just speculating, time will tell.

I don't think it will compare very closely, if at all. The Viper Bipe is a very different design and a lot bigger and heavier than the AMR.

I also do not think there will be any comparison....The Byper will blow the AMR away!!

I love my AMR, it's got heaps of character and is just a lot of fun to fly. I'm pretty sure the Viper Bipe will be a different sort of animal. I'd imagine it will be less quirky and more precise but if it can match the AMR on the pure fun stakes we will have to wait and see.. 'fun' is a subjective thing anyway.

Get both the Viper and AMR then you cant go wrong
